Meet The Team

Say hello to the new owner of Alpharetta Animal Hospital! Far from being new, however, Pam remembers being a little girl sitting on the counter eating chili dogs while watching her dad, Dr. Hines, affectionately known as “Doc,” perform surgery on Alpharetta’s beloved pets. She not only watched what happened at AAH, she grew up working there as well - cleaning the runs, washing dogs and cats, and answering the phone among many other things. She is thrilled to carry on what her dad started in 1973. Alpharetta Animal Hospital has been an integral part of downtown Alpharetta for over 50 years and she plans to keep it that way. Dr. Hines built his practice by providing exceptional veterinary care and personalized customer service. Pam is determined to continue with those same values in the days ahead along with the support from the invaluable team of veterinarians and staff at AAH.

• Loves spending time with his wife and two boys
• Loves cooking, culinary school was his second option if being a veterinarian didn’t work out
• Favorite vacation place is Yellowstone Park
• Favorite hobby is fly fishing
• Favorite football team is the UGA Bulldogs

• Has 4 young children, all boys
• Has 7 pets. 4 Australian shepherds, 1 mix, and 2 cats
• She received her Bachelors in Science as well as her Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine at the university of Georgia
• She has a passion for internal medicine, cardiology, and oncology but enjoys all areas of veterinarian medicine
• Small animal medicine is her passion, but she did some large animal medicine in college.
• She was a on the Dairy Cow Judging Team at UGA
• Has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine since 2013
• Favorite football team is the UGA bulldogs
• Other hobbies include family time, cooking, riding her Peloton
• Has visited Disney World over 25 times

• Dr. Reyes is a writer! Since age of 3, she  has been writing short stories, articles, novels, and poems. She has won national competitions during school years.
• At the age of 5, she assisted her goat pet to deliver 2 beautiful kids during a complicated kidding.
• Dr. Reyes loves wildlife. She has worked with rhinos, lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
• At the age of 6, she developed a new “Amapola variety” since “play geneticist” was her favorite activity.
• Dr. Reyes loves acting. She has participated in several plays and musicals, and had a role in a movie recorded in Puerto Rico.
• Dr. Reyes loves languages. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and is currently learning Portuguese and Italian.

• Owner of a 5ft long ball python
• Loves binge watching historical documentaries and true crime shows
• Enjoys attending Dragon Con and cosplaying as comic book characters

• She was born and raised here in Alpharetta
• She has been a dancer since 3 years old training in ballet, jazz, and ballroom
• She loves taking her golden retriever on hikes and adventures

• Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA
• Received his bachelors in science: zoology as well as his DVM at Auburn University
• Enjoys backpacking and camping with his wife (also a veterinarian) and their dog, Moose.
• Avid snowboarder and loves playing all sports
• Teaches scuba diving in his free time
